No arranca Windows (SOLUCIONADO)

He instalado MAX 4.0 sobre MAX 3.0, manteniendo la partición (convivía con Windows). MAX 4.0 funciona, desde MAX puedo ver los archivos de Windows y desde Gparted se ven las particiones (nfts, ext3 y swap). Pero desde el menú de arranque, cuando elijo Windows me sale la típica pantalla donde me dice que como Windows no se cerró correctamente me ofrece arranque en modo seguro,.... Ninguna de esas opciones de arranque de Windows me funciona (el equipo se queda colgado). ¿Alguna idea sobre la causa de esto? Gracias.

Por lo que entiendo de tu mensaje, cuando arrancas el equipo te sale el menu de arranque de grub, si pulsas en MAX4 arranca normalmente y si pulsas en windows falla.

Manda al foro la salida de estos comandos desde un terminal de max:

Código: Seleccionar todo

sudo fdisk -l

salen todas las particiones de tus discos duros

Código: Seleccionar todo

sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

para ver tu archivo de configuración de grub

Hola JMiguel. No soy nuevo en este foro: ya el año pasado me solucionasteis un problema que tuve con el arranque de MAX 3.0.

No veo nada raro ni en las particiones ni en el archivo menu.lst.

He leído de nuevo tu mensaje, y no lo había entendido bien, porque veo que windows si arranca pero con errores.

Recuerdo una vez que sin otro sistema operativo instalado me pasaba algo similar, en mi caso se había corrompido el ntldr, creo que es así como se llama, que es responsable del arranque de winnt en adelante.

Busca por ese error en foros de windows:

En mi caso el mensaje salía muy deprisa y tardé en saber lo que pasaba

También se puede arrancar con la consola de errores de windows.

Desde el CD de instalación creo que hay una opción, y luego hay comandos para arreglar el arranque, fixmbr y similares.

Aunque con algunos de ellos te cargues el arranque con el grub, luego es fácil de arreglar con el dvd live de Max

No conseguí reparar ni el ntdlr ni nada así que decidí reinstalar Windows. Al principio del proceso tienes unas opciones de reparar o algo así pero tampoco conseguí nada. Más adelante te ofrece de nuevo otra opción de reparar (no recuerdo si es esa la palabra exacta); opté por esa vía y me reinstaló Windows, aunque manteniéndome todos los programas y los archivos (de esto se trataba). Lo único es que he tenido algunos problemas de configuración que espero solucionar.

Mi consejo, en resumen, es reinstalar Windows. No he tenido que retocar nada del Grub ni de las particiones.
